Perhaps you've heard rumors that the next-generation Toyota Corolla model will be even more impressive than ever, but did you know that the company has confirmed it will receive even more edits than the new 2013 Toyota Avalon? The As Bill Fay, General Manager of the Toyota and Scion brands in the U.S., tells WardsAuto when describing the new Corolla as compared to the new Avalon, "Some [within Toyota] have said it is an even more dramatic change."1

Though Toyota fans have come to expect small, gradual changes from the Toyota Corolla every year, for the 2013 model year, changes could be a bit more exaggerated. Reports that the Corolla will receive more attractive sheet metal have been in place for quite some time, and now there are rumors that the stylish sedan could also see more intense edits.

The new Avalon, for its part, will receive quite substantial upgrades from the previous model, with a completely revamped interior and exterior. Inside, the Avalon received a new floating stack with capacitive buttons and a touchscreen as standard, as well as available ambient lighting.

Of course, we're not quite sure yet what the Corolla will change to better compete against its touch competition, but we can't wait to see what the company will implement!
