The idealists in the world think about the time preceding wedding as abuzz with excitement. The realists of the world probably recognize the fair amount of work involved. And, the perfectionists are likely to stress about every little detail, from invitations to whether Uncle Harry will make an inappropriate comment to your friend Shannon, if they're seated at the same reception table. Few worry about having a life-changing catastrophic accident. But that's exactly what happened to Rachelle Friedman on the evening of her bachelorette party.

This certainly isn't anyone's idea of a happy ending. However, Rachelle persevered. And, all has ended well, thanks in part to the generous scheming of Toyota and The Braun Corporation.

See, the accident left Rachelle paralyzed. To take the strain off of having her mom cart Rachelle around in her SUV to wedding-planning appointments, BraunAbility and Van Products Inc. loaned Rachelle and Chris a special wheelchair accessible van. In knowing how much having regained some of her independence meant to Rachelle, Toyota and Braun, immediately started scheming on the perfect wedding present: a new wheelchair accessible van Rachelle would hopefully someday be able to drive on her own.

Toyota attended the wedding and presented the gift to the couple at the reception. Toasting the newlyweds, Scott Heyer, Corporate Fleet/TRAC/TCUV Manager said, "On behalf of Toyota Motor Sales, U.S.A. and Toyota Mobility, we are honored to share in this joyous occasion. We hope this special gift will enrich your life together and enhance your health and happiness today and in the future. Congratulations!"1
